I dropped the postcards off at the bulk mail station today.  The clerk paused and looked at the image and said, "wow."  I think that's a good sign.

I called Peter and confirmed a bunch of sundry details about Galileo and next season.

I started working on the floor design.

I got a new quilt yesterday.  A few weeks ago, I got a new duvet cover.
I've decided to redesign my bedroom (and by redesign I mean swap out some art and push the furniture furniture around a bit).

This apartment makes the Killer Joe set look like a cover shoot for Elle Decor Magazine.

We had an apartment like this in Joe and I's old building.  It caught fire and nearly burned the building down. 
I vividly remember the message: "There's a fire in the building, I have the cats, we're across the street, we're ok."

I know I've been absent lately.
I blame Killer Joe (that and doing some day job work at a computer-less desk).

The set is pretty much done.
It's so much easier when there's not a POOL involved!!!!

Two more coats on the floor treatment, four more coats on the walls, perhaps a little more dirt in the kitchen, and hanging the masking drapes.
Tomorrow is tech, and if Julia's flourescent kitchen lamp is any indication, it's going to be awesome.
